When Brett asked me to work on the cover of his new album, i felt honored and thrilled but i also knew it would take some time to experiment the concept. According to his original idea, it had to be abstract, preferably in color and involving some kind of human presence. I also had the title in tow: Multitude, Solitude. I did a lot of different series, each time bending the three-components-rule and stumbling upon the same feedback over and over: can we do more? So i did, and it seems like the last series (showing below) is coming close to the master's original idea. I had to convince him also that it will look like my work and that my own vision will be a huge factor in the creating process. We still have to work on it before he makes the final decision on what the cover will be. I will reveal it here when the CD is released. Stay tuned!
Ultimately, it will be his pitch and i can't wait to show you the final product.
I want to use this post to thank him for challenging me, for pushing me further, for feeding my creativity and for loving my work in such a supportive way.
