This could well be the mildest winter of all since i moved to the north American continent fourteen years ago. I am not the one that is going to complain about it, i do not tolerate the cold weather very well and always long for the next season at this time of the year. But i'll admit it, there is something utterly fascinating in the polar landscape and climate.
This series called Melt by photographer Simon Harsent makes me think of ice cubes slowly melting in our oceans. Harsent captures the majesty of nature like i have rarely seen.
