Berlin based photographer Meike Nixdorf shoots and edits landscapes like i have personally never seen before.
In one of her interview she recalls being told once by someone reviewing her portfolio in New York that her landscape photography was beautiful but that "any photographer could have taken it". The criticism staggered her and pushed her to start shooting with a different point of view. And here lies her new body of work.
What a fascinating artist. She is definitely in my radar.
I highly recommend this video if you are -like me- drawned to her stripped aesthetic.
